Why “Say That, Girl!”

diverse women

There’s an opening in the hearts and minds of many fatherless girls and women that’s filled with hate, loneliness, confusion, low self-esteem, disappointment, and unforgiveness.  That opening needs to be filled with love, confidence, encouragement, and forgiveness, but for many, that’s a battle.
I’m going to war for fatherless daughters by sharing my story and helping them redefine who they are beyond their fatherlessness.

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

Our thoughts on who we are often are clouded by what our fathers weren’t to us, but I want fatherless daughters to understand that we are who our Heavenly Father says we are regardless of our circumstances. And He will claim us and receive us although our earthly fathers have forsaken us.
